Internal Google Ads BI Reporting Tool · Application Overview and Google Ads API Use Case

1. Application Overview

Wenhey Marketing Insights is an internal business intelligence application developed and operated by Chengdu Wenhe Interactive Entertainment Technology Co., Ltd. It is used exclusively by authorized company personnel to analyze the advertising performance of mobile applications and other products owned and operated by our company.

The application is not a public product, is not offered as a SaaS or data retrieval service, and cannot be accessed by customers, agencies, merchants, partners, or members of the general public.

2. Relationship to Our Customer-Facing Services

Our company also provides customer-facing global mobile marketing and related business services. Wenhey Marketing Insights is separate from those services. It is used only for our self-operated products and does not connect to, access, retrieve, store, or analyze Google Ads accounts or advertising data belonging to customers, business partners, or any other third party.

3. Google Ads API Use

Wenhey Marketing Insights uses the Google Ads API solely to retrieve official campaign and advertising performance data from Google Ads accounts owned and operated by our company. The reporting scope covers App, Search, Performance Max, and Display campaigns used for our self-operated products.

Typical reporting data includes:

• Advertising account, campaign ID, campaign name, campaign type, and reporting date;
• Impressions, clicks, advertising cost, conversions, conversion value, and app installation performance;
• Aggregated performance indicators used for internal BI analysis and operational reporting.

4. Read-Only Reporting Limitation

The application provides Reporting only. It does not create or modify Google Ads accounts, campaigns, advertisements, assets, budgets, bids, targeting, or campaign settings. It does not create conversion actions, upload conversion events, create audiences, upload remarketing data, or provide keyword planning services.

5. Authorized Users and Account Scope

• Only authorized employees or approved contractors working under company control may use the application.
• Google authorization is completed only by authorized personnel using company-controlled Google accounts.
• Connected Google Ads accounts must be owned and operated by our company for our self-operated products.
• Customer, partner, and other third-party Google Ads accounts are outside the permitted scope and must not be connected.

6. Data Flow and Internal Use

The internal backend authenticates through Google OAuth 2.0 and sends reporting queries to the official Google Ads API. Retrieved reporting data is imported into our company-controlled internal platform and database, where authorized personnel can view and analyze aggregated reports by date, advertising account, application, and campaign.

The data is used only for internal marketing performance analysis, advertising cost statistics, operational analysis, and reporting for our self-operated products.

7. Security and Data Sharing

• OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored in protected server-side configuration.
• Access is restricted through internal authentication, role-based permissions, and network security controls.
• Google Ads data retrieved by the application is not sold, rented, disclosed, or provided to unrelated external parties.
• Internal reporting access and permitted internal exports are limited to authorized personnel for company business purposes.
